What is Operation Green Light?
Operation Green Light is a new, national collaborative initiative to support military veterans, as well as raise awareness about the unique challenges they may face.
While studies show the vast majority of Americans support our veterans, too often that support is not seen or felt by service men and women. Operation Green Light is changing that.
Alamance County will be illuminating the historic courthouse green November 7th through the 13th in support of our local veterans.
“We wholeheartedly support our veterans,” said Chairman John Paisley of the Alamance County Board of Commissioners. “We encourage all of our county’s residents, businesses, and organizations to join us in thanking our veterans by participating in Operation Green Light and in other veterans celebrations in our communities.” View the Alamance County Board of Commissioners Proclamation on Operation Green Light by clicking here.
